A Lesson Learned

Fragile skin
Ripped-open veins
White eyes
Empty gaze
Unhealing welts
Blood-soaked linoleum
Rigid muscles
Clenched jaw
Lack of soul
Flow spirit
Frail memories scrawled across ripped spiral notebook paper
In dark red ink stains
Unfathomable pain and torture brought to one tragic, sudden end
Everyone knew what you were thinking
No one thought you would actually carry it out
But, now they know
Dont they?
A lesson learned.
